Solana Ships Native Onchain Subscriptions and Spending Allowances

Solana has launched "Subscriptions & Allowances," a single onchain program meant to handle recurring payments and delegated spending without custom infrastructure or a centralized billing layer, according to a June 2, 2026 post on Solana's own news site. The program is deployed on mainnet, open source, and — per the announcement — audited by Cantina/Spearbit. It was built by Moonsong Labs in partnership with the Solana Foundation.
The program offers three patterns. Allowances let a user pre-authorize a one-time spend up to a cap with an optional expiration — pitched as the building block for AI agents acting within a budget, and for card-linked spending via multi-delegate support. Recurring Delegations let a delegate pull up to a set amount on a repeating cadence (Solana's example: $500 every two weeks), with terms set by the user, aimed at payroll and contractor payments. Subscription Plans let a merchant publish fixed tiers onchain (Solana's examples: $49/month and $199/month) with immutable, snapshotted terms; changing price means sunsetting the old plan and creating a new one.
Solana names design partners Helius, Confirmo, Dynamic, Majority, Mesh and Meow as "live or actively integrating." Per the post: Helius (an RPC/data provider) is integrating Subscription Plans for API tiers; Confirmo (a stablecoin payment gateway) plans to use it for stablecoin invoice collection; and Dynamic — described as embedded-wallet infrastructure "now part of Fireblocks" — is integrating it for onchain checkout, using Fireblocks Flow to make funded assets spendable in the plan's settlement currency. Solana's pay-as-you-go API layer, pay.sh, now supports subscriptions on top of the same primitive. The program works with SPL Token and Token-2022 (including confidential transfers) and is integration-tested with Squads multisig and Swig smart-wallet flows.

Which partners are actually processing live payments today, and at what volume, isn't stated.
