About Cleartext
Cleartext is independent crypto news. The whole point is what most of the space won't do: refuse payment to cover anything, and say so.
How a story is made
- Sources first. A version-controlled registry, tiered by trust: primary (filings, the project itself, on-chain and fund data), reputable secondary desks, and community signal. Every story anchors on a primary source.
- Clustered. Every outlet covering one event is grouped into a single story, so you read the event, not ten rewrites of it.
- Synthesized, not regurgitated. A neutral summary across the sources — discrepancies flagged, forecasts attributed, marketing called marketing.
- Reviewed. A human reads every post before it publishes.
What we won't do
No sponsored posts dressed as news. No price predictions stated as fact. No hype, no fear, no clickbait. And never financial advice — what you do with the information is on you.
