Ether ETFs hit nine-day outflow streak as Solana funds break a 14-week run
U.S. spot ether ETFs bled $542.1 million last week and Solana funds logged their first-ever losing week, as all three major crypto ETF categories posted net outflows totaling roughly $1.25 billion.
All three major U.S. spot crypto ETF categories bled cash last week, with ether funds doing the most damage, according to The Block, citing SoSoValue data.
Spot ether ETFs shed $542.1 million — their worst week since January and a second straight losing week — extending a daily outflow streak to nine consecutive sessions worth $697.2 million that began Sept. 29. BlackRock's ETHA drove it, losing $477.0 million, about 88% of the category, its largest weekly outflow since mid-December 2025. The heaviest single day was Tuesday's $201.9 million, all from ETHA — which happened to be the day the fund's 1-for-3 reverse share split took effect. Grayscale's ETHE was a distant second at $31.9 million.
Spot Solana ETFs lost $24.8 million, ending a 14-week inflow streak — the longest since the products launched in October 2025 — and marking their first negative week since late June. Bitwise's BSOL accounted for roughly 84% of the outflow at $20.9 million. The reversal landed just two weeks after Solana funds drew a record $188.2 million in a single week.
Spot bitcoin ETFs lost $681.1 million, snapping a three-week inflow run, with most of the damage ($487.1 million) on Wednesday before a modest $21.1 million return on Friday.

The real-world read
The dramatic-sounding details deserve proportion. Solana's "largest outflow ever" is $24.8 million — roughly three times a prior record of $8.9 million, but trivial against the category's $1.73 billion in assets and its $188.2 million inflow two weeks earlier; this is a young, thin product, so records in both directions come cheap. On ether, ETHA's single worst day coincided exactly with its 1-for-3 reverse split taking effect — The Block notes the timing but does not assert causation, and reverse splits can mechanically disrupt a day's creation/redemption flow, so read that $201.9 million with care rather than as pure sentiment. One caveat on sourcing: this all traces to a single secondary outlet relaying SoSoValue's aggregated figures; no issuer filing or fund-level disclosure is cited to corroborate the daily splits independently. Bitcoin near $82,900 and ether near $2,500 is the backdrop the flows are reacting to.
